Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated tireless efforts of the country’s prime spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for national security and expressed his satisfaction over professional preparedness, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military s media wing said that General Qamar visited the ISI headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday where he was given comprehensive briefing on the regional and national security situation.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday visited Sialkot garrison and appreciated the professionalism and devotion of officers and men to defend the motherland in the face of multiple threats, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military s media wing said that General Qamar was briefed on the situation along the working boundary and operational readiness.
The COAS also interacted with garrison officers and men and lauded them for their high morale and indomitable spirit.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday assured the bereaved families of Machh tragedy that the perpetrators of the heinous incident will be brought to justice and blood of the martyrs will not go waste, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa told a visiting Afghan delegation on Tuesday that it was in Pakistan’s national interest to have peace in the neighbouring country, as the second and most crucial phase of the peace process kicked off in Doha.
“Peace in Afghanistan means peace in Pakistan,” the army chief said during his meeting with Mohammad Karim Khalili, the head of Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan.
