WWE has announced two segments for NXT Great American Bash on Tuesday, including a face-to-face meeting between NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano. Meanwhile, Hit Row will host a ‘championship cypher’ for NXT North American champion Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. Gargano and Kross traded words earlier today to set up their meeting.

WWE.com posted the following today, announcing two new segments for next Tuesday night’s episode of the Great American Bash themed episode of WWE NXT.
First, we’ll see a face-to-face confrontation between Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano. );

On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, a confrontation took place inside the ring between Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole which led to Samoa Joe attempting to play peacemaker. However, when all was said and done, Adam Cole turned away and then swung on Joe, though it isn’t clear if he was trying to attack Joe or O’Reilly as Joe had stepped in between the two men.
“The Samoan Submission Machine” ducked the swing and O’Reilly locked in a leg submission. Cole yelled for Joe to do something, but Joe stared for several seconds before finally leaving the ring and telling security to get in and break it up. You can see the segment below.

TakeOver: In Your House special on Sunday night with a cliffhanger, and we quickly heard rumors it involved the return of Samoa Joe to WWE.
Other than that, not much changed for or around the brand heading into its June 15 episode. All the champions retained. There was still competition from the NBA and NHL playoffs on other channels.
So it seems reasonable to attribute the modest increase in viewers from the week before to General Manager William Regal’s announcement, and Joe’s arrival. PWTorch reports last night’s audience grew a little less than 4% June 8’s, to 695,000.
