The trademark documents, submitted on 13 July 2021 and uncovered by CarsGuide, gives weight to the possibility of the high-performance Corvette being made for the Australian market by Chevrolet and being sold through the GMSV dealer network – the General Motors subsidiary formed from the ashes of HSV. However, those keen on a Corvette Z06 may have to wait a while, with website GM Authority reporting delays to the model pushing back its reveal to late 2022, for a 2023 launch in the US. Given the C8 Corvette has yet to land in Australia – with its arrival expected in late 2021 or early 2022 – it s possible local buyers could be waiting for the Z06 until 2024 for the Z06.
