Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has signed a bill into law that will allow legal sports betting in the Mid-Atlantic state to begin as soon as possible, and that could create a highly competitive market for online wagers.
A majority of Maryland voters supported legalizing sports betting when asked about it by a November 2020 ballot measure. Legislation implementing those wishes was then passed by the state’s Democratic Party-controlled legislature in April and sent to Gov. Hogan, a Republican.

The elimination of mandatory administration fees taken from students’ paychecks every semester is also a key demand.

Truth, for those who have forgotten, is defined as conformity to fact or actuality. There is logic in assuming the definition is forgotten considering the current acceptance by the general population of so much that is untrue. Consider the following common or destructive untruths.
Perhaps the most common untruths are the campaign promises, “I promise this action if you elect me.” Has anyone challenged this untruth? Not harmful, but untrue because the Legislature must first agree. Be honest and say, “I will fight for you on this action?” Is this where politicians become pathological liars? Does this explain why the public does not challenge obvious lies?
