Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor on Tuesday said that there is no conflict going on in the government, between the Prime Minister and the Health Minister, adding that it is the PM s right to send the Control Corps where clarifications are needed. The Prime Minister s Control Corps goes where it is sent or where there is a notification. So we shouldn t be discussing whether it is good or bad. The Minister believes that the Control Corps should go there, to make some clarifications. The Prime Minister has this right, which cannot be challenged by anyone. Otherwise, there is no conflict (.) This is only about checking if the data is OK or is not OK, the UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania) told Antena 3 private television broadcaster when asked how he commented on what seemed to be a new conflict between the Minister of Health and the Prime Minister.

The government at its first Wednesday meeting appointed four prefects proposed by the UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania), according to a press release of this political party.
After negotiations in the coalition on the nominations and appointments made by the Government, UDMR will have prefects in the following counties: Arad - Toth Csaba, Cluj - Tasnadi Istvan Szilard, Salaj - Dari Tamas, and Altfatter Tamas-Ferenc will continue to be a prefect in Satu Mare.
The same source mentioned that the Government will also appoint other prefects and subprefects nominated by the UDMR in the next interval.

The Social Democratic Party (PSD) will not go, on Tuesday, to the consultations with President Klaus Iohannis, aimed at designating the candidate for the office of Prime Minister, according to some party sources.
The head of state already had a round of consultations the previous week with the leaders of the political parties represented in Parliament.
PSD was invited to the Cotroceni Palace for consultations at 3.00 pm, with PNL (National Liberal Party) to follow at 3.30 pm, the USR PLUS (Save Romania Union - Freedom, Unity, Solidarity Party) Alliance is expected at 4.00 pm, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), at 4.30 pm, the UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania) at 5.00 pm, and the representatives of the national minorities group at 5.30 pm.
