We are slowly moving from the power that guarantees justice, the rights and privileges in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to chaos and anarchy on our streets, in our courts, and in our nation.
Will Biden Be Another Roosevelt?

Perhaps the most frequently discussed question lately is: Will President Joseph Biden be another Franklin D. Roosevelt? FDR’s presidency, from 1933 to 1945, transformed the United States with its New Deal, a collection of social welfare programs that rewrote the nation’s social contract. During the Great Depression of the 1930s, with banks collapsing, corporations contracting, small businesses failing, and 25 percent unemployment, FDR created massive jobs programs, expanded government relief, and most important created Social Security retirement program and passed the National Labor Relations Act, giving unions the right to organize. Roosevelt also built the New Deal Coalition, made up of labor unions, Black Americans, and corporations that produced consumer goods, which became the base of the Democratic Party for the next 75 years.

Ocasio-Cortez Criticizes SALT Cap Repeal Effort: Stimulus Update Bloomberg 9 hrs ago Bloomberg News
(Bloomberg) Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized calls by a group of House members to repeal the $10,000 cap on deductions for state and local taxes, saying it would be a “giveaway to the rich.” Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden separately said it’s “unreasonable” for Republicans to demand that corporations should not pay for roads, bridges and port upgrades.
Meantime, a group of Republican senators said they’ll prepare a counteroffer to President Joe Biden’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure-and-tax plan, without indicating its size or how they’d pay for it. Senator Chris Coons, a key Biden ally, said he’s talking with GOP counterparts about potentially splitting off a bipartisan package of measures from the giant program the White House has pitched.
