Governor signs pair of pandemic relief bills SANTA FE â New Mexico s Democratic governor has signed economic relief legislation that provides $600 rebates to low-income workers and a tax holiday for restaurants that have been hobbled by aggressive pandemic health restrictions. Local Briefs: Whitewater Cemetery board meets

The Whitewater Cemetery Association will have its spring meeting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at the Lands End Fire Department in Whitewater. The volunteer organization takes care of one of the valleyâs oldest cemeteries, dating back to the late 1800s, a news release said. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, whether they are interested in volunteering or just want to see what itâs all about. The meeting will follow current pandemic protocols.
