Zanesville Metro Housing garners grant
COLUMBUS, Ohio The Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority is one of four public housing authorities in Ohio to receive grant funding for the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency Program. The local grant award is $180,682 and will be used to hire or retain service coordinators to assist public housing families meet their professional, financial, health and educational goals.
The grant funds are from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The agency on Wednesday announced the awards totaling $36.9 million to public housing authorities, Native American tribes and nonprofit organizations across the country.

Philo students streaming comedy from their homes
PHILO - The drama department of Philo High School will present the comedy The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon from 7 p.m. March 19 to 7 p.m. March 21 via online streaming.
Students used technology and video editing software to rehearse and perform the show entirely from their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They play mixes up well known fairy tales such as Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White to provide zany fun for all.
Tickets are $8 for an individual or $15 for a family and are available at philodrama.weebly.com.
