Cross-platform software specialist Parallels has release Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS), with new productivity and management features to enable employees to work easily and securely from anywhere.
Parallels RAS is said to provide cost-effective, flexible and scalable publication of virtual desktops and applications to any device.
To support the large increase in remote working, Parallels RAS 18.1 includes a self-service feature that the company says eliminates much of the pressure on IT admins to manually add standalone remote PCs.
Remote PCs are now automatically added to Parallels RAS as published desktops with the specified user filtering preconfigured.

The company said in a blog post today that Windows 365 will be able to stream a version of Windows 10 or Windows 11 to any kind of device, including a MacBook, iPad, Linux computer or Android phone. Users will be able to pick up instantly from wherever they left off, with immediate access to their data and the applications and tools they were using.
