Who hijacked Flight MH653?

Pix for representational purpose only. FOUR days ago (March 8) marked the seventh anniversary of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370’s disappearance in 2014. However, that was not the first major air crash involving the national carrier since it commenced operations in 1972, then known as Malaysian Airline System (MAS). After MH370, just four months later in July 2014, the world was rocked again by news of another Malaysia Airlines flight falling from the skies. Flight MH17 was shot down by a missile over eastern Ukraine. It was the airlines’ second air crash that resulted from foul play, or by criminal elements. MAS suffered its first air disaster on Dec 4, 1977 when its Boeing 737-200 airliner was hijacked during a domestic flight.

More and more, contemporary perfumers are putting an experimental twist on classic scents, creating fragrances that are definitively genderless, and utilising synthetic ingredients to create previously unimaginable results.

The figure on the top left is Mays Abu Ghosh a palestinian Arab journalist who was charged with being a member of the Democratic Progressive Student Pole, a student bloc banned by Israeli military orders, and with “communicating with an enemy” (contributing to an allegedly Hezbollah-affiliated news agency). Here is a photo of her supporting freedom for Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, sentenced to life in prison for the 1982 murder of an assistant US military attaché, the murder of an Israeli diplomat outside his home in Paris the same year, as well as involvement in the attempted assassination of a former American consul.

Mar 4, 2021 Organization calls it “morally grotesque” that U of T is hosting an event affiliated with a known Palestinian arch-terrorist. By Yakir Benzion, United With Israel B’nai Brith Canada is calling out the University of Toronto for using the image of a notorious Palestinian terrorist to promote an upcoming event, noting the ongoing problem with anti-Semitic incidents on the campus of Canada’s largest university. This week, the U of T Institute of Islamic Studies, Department of History and Center for the Study of the United States are scheduled to co-host an event with the bizarre title: “Liberated Students in a Colonised Campus: Reflections on the Palestinian Experience at the University of Toronto.”
