In anticipation of the staging of events to ring in the New Year, the police have issued a warning to party promoters, that these will be in breach of the Disaster Risk Management Act.
The warning from Assistant Commissioner of Police Michael Smith, who is in charge of Area 3, was particularly directed at persons in Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth.
It follows concerns by members of the Divisional Intelligence Unit about an event to be held in St. Elizabeth between midnight and 7 o clock Friday morning.
