The woman, whose age wasn’t immediately released, was shot outside a building on Dix Avenue, near McBride Street, in Far Rockaway around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, police said. © Provided by WINS Radio New York She was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, the NYPD said. No one had been arrested in connection with the shooting as of Tuesday evening, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
