The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) apprehended a permanent resident woman, 51, at Jalan Maulana, Kuala Belait on April 21.
Belait Police District Headquarters personnel raided the residence and seized several evidence of four digit (4D) gambling.
Evidence included smartphones, betting papers and cash. The confiscated items were brought to Panaga Police Station for investigation under Chapter 28 of the Common Gaming Houses Act.
RBPF thanked informants for the tip-off and reminded the public that information for these illegal acts can be relayed to the authorities through hotline 993.

The Public Works Department (JKR) informed the public that parts of the roads near Simpang 320, X-12, Jalan Maulana, Kuala Belait will be temporarily closed starting tomorrow at 8am.
The closure is to allow for repair works on broken sewer pipes. It is expected to take three weeks.
The department also announced that half of Jalan Kumbang Pasang heading towards Brunei International Airport will also be closed starting tomorrow from 10pm to 6am for a week.
The temporary closure is for repair and resurfacing works.
The department reminded road users to be extra cautious when passing through the area and to comply with the speed limit.
