MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA The national vaccine shortage continues to severely impact Montgomery County, as the wait line for those eligible to receive doses in the 1A priority group has grown drastically.
There are now 139,926 residents preregistered and waiting for doses, officials said. At the current rate that doses are being received, and the rate at which this line is being processed, it could take up to 12 weeks for residents to hear back about scheduling their appointment following their preregistration. There will be enough vaccine for all of us that want it, but there is not enough today, Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh said Wednesday.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA Many residents of the Philadelphia region are living out the reality of the lyrics to Let It Snow, as the Nor easter hitting the region doesn t show signs of stopping.
Snow has been falling in the region since Sunday afternoon, leaving some areas with more than 30 inches of snow.
Up in Springtown, Bucks County, the National Weather service reports 31.2 inches as of 8 a.m., which is the highest total in the five-county Philadelphia region.

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA A monster of a winter storm that has blanketed the region since Sunday will finally come to an end Tuesday. Some parts of Eastern Pennsylvania have already received more than 30 inches of snow as of early Tuesday, and more accumulation is possible.
The National Weather Service said periods of light snow will continue throughout the day Tuesday, with 1 to 3 inches of additional snow expected. Snow will taper off in the late afternoon and the storm will be completely offshore by midnight.

BRISTOL, PA A Bucks County man has been arrested on charges claiming he assaulted a police officer during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Ryan Stephen Samsel, 37, of Bristol Borough, was arrested on Saturday, according to the FBI. In federal court documents unsealed Monday, an FBI agent claims Samsel was one of the people in a widely shared video in which supporters of former President Donald Trump fight officers over a barricade outside the Capitol.
