Week That Was: Exciting to watch

O-Zone: Thanks for sharing

Camron from PA For years, the response the team has had to an inadequate, subpar offensive line is: It s not a weakness, it s better than people think, there s a lot of talent there. I will give former General Manager David Caldwell s front office credit for attempting to address the issue, bringing in right tackle Jermey Parnell and left guard Andrew Norwell on big deals, retaining center Brandon Linder, and drafting two SEC tackles in the second round. However, those moves obviously haven t translated into a great offensive line. Time and time again, we see teams forsake building an elite offensive line because it isn t quite a weakness in their eyes, just to have seasons ended and careers derailed as a result. Look no further than former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck for the latter and the Seattle Seahawks for the former. If an offensive line isn t a strength, then it s a weakness. I hope the Jags strongly consider using No. 25 and 33 on offensive linemen, maybe Te

O-Zone: Difficult task

John from Jacksonville Hi KOAGF - Have you posted a list of key dates upcoming for this offseason yet? It s really helpful in knowing what is happening and when (such as free agency, the draft, OTAs, the return of the Culligan Girl and other events). Here are a few of the key dates that figure to matter: February 23 (franchise/transition period begins), March 15-17 (teams permitted to contact representation for players who will become unrestricted free agents on March 17), March 17 (beginning of unrestricted free agency), April 5 (teams with new head coaches may begin offseason programs), April 19 (teams with returning head coaches may begin offseason

O-Zone: One-way street

Zach from Jacksonville Outside of possibly Florida tight end Kyle Pitts falling, could you possibly see a scenario where the Jags move up in the draft from No. 25? Yes. I could also see the Jaguars moving down in Round 1, then moving back up. Or moving up in Round 1, then trading back down. This answer is not meant to be snide, but to point out a couple of things. One is there s no real way to know if the Jaguars want to trade up or down – or if a trade is a real possibility – until they actually do or don t do it. That s the nature of the NFL Draft; before it happens, it s
