A judge on Wednesday found Kevin O. Hurley, 62, guilty of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 42-year-old Brandy K. Castaneda, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker. Hurley will be sentenced at a later date, Peters Baker said.
