DOUGLASS (Mont.)Â â Work began this week on the new $2.83 million emergency services center on East Philadelphia Avenue.
The new building is being constructed on the site of the old Gilbertsville firehouse, which had a leaky roof and other structural issues, and so has been torn down.
It will house both the township police department, currently located in the township building down the street, as well as the Gilbertsville Fire and Rescue.
