A man was hospitalized after he was shot while driving on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade early Friday, authorities said.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said the man was behind the wheel of a white Chrysler sedan in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Northwest 103rd Street when another vehicle pulled up alongside him and someone inside fired multiple gunshots.
The driver was struck by a bullet in his abdomen and drove himself to North Shore Hospital, FHP officials said. He was later brought to Jackson Memorial Hospital s Ryder Trauma Center and was expected to survive.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital s Ryder Trauma Center with a gunshot wound.
Around the same time, a third victim who was also involved in the incident arrived at North Shore Hospital with gunshot wounds, and was transferred to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
No other information was immediately known.

During the robbery attempt Clay and Anthony Scott, who were armed with handguns, shot Travis Scott, grazing his left hand, an arrest report said.
Travis Scott returned fire, hitting Anthony Scott in the neck, the report said. A woman who was nearby was also hit in the leg by the gunfire.
Clay and another man, 20-year-old Joe Smith, who witnessed the robbery and shootout, took Anthony Scott to Homestead Hospital where he later died, the report said.

A driver was killed when a hit-and-run crash sent his car through the front gate of a home in northwest Miami-Dade late Tuesday, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Police officials said they responded to the crash in the area of northwest 77th Street and Northwest 14th Avenue around 11:45 p.m.
Officials said the driver of a black sedan struck a white sedan, causing the driver of the white sedan to crash into the front gate of a home.
