Health department to distribute second vaccine doses on March 20

WBBJ TV March 11, 2021 JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will not be distributing second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday, March 13. Individuals who received their first shot of the vaccine through the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department on Feb. 26 will return for their second dose on Saturday, March 20. Those who were originally scheduled to receive their first dose on Feb. 19 were vaccinated on Feb. 26 due to snow and ice, according to a news release. According to a news release, the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will open additional vaccine appointments on Monday, March 1 to eligible residents 65-years-old or older. Per the release eligible Madison Co. residents in this phase can schedule appointments online at their website or by calling the COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Line at 1-888-796-8894. If anyone has any questions about appointments or trouble scheduling one, they are asked to call the appointment line. The appointments will be in 30 minute increments. Residents can show up at any point during their allotted time slot to the designated location to receive the vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccine appointments now offered for Madison County residents 70 and older January 30, 2021 JACKSON, Tenn. –The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccination appointments for Madison County residents ages 70 and older. The health department is also scheduling make-up appointments for individuals included in Phase 1a1, Phase 1a2, and Phase 1b. Madison County residents in these phases can schedule an appointment to receive their vaccine online at their website at www.madisoncountytn.gov. Those who do not have access to internet can call the COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Line at (888)-796-8894. Any residents that have questions about their appointments or trouble scheduling one, are asked to please call the appointment line.
