We re going to compete and then support whoever s out there, Minshew said Wednesday as the Jaguars (1-13) prepared to play the Chicago Bears (7-7) at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville Sunday at 1 p.m.

Hello, everyone. Welcome back to high school. T in the league. This is our weekly show. We talked about all the former North Carolina high school football players who are playing in the NFL. Question: The Bears, after a 5-1 start followed by six consecutive losses, have won their last two games to get back into playoff contention. Considering that, how do the Bears feel about themselves entering Sunday s game against the Jaguars? They have a chance to get into the postseason.

An inexperienced, beat-up defense continued to struggle, too – and those two factors combined for another difficult day for the Jaguars.
Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew II, starting for the first time in eight weeks, struggled against an aggressive defense and the Baltimore Ravens offense overwhelmed the Jaguars defense throughout a 40-14 Ravens victory at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., Sunday afternoon. I can tell you what I told them in the locker room: Hey listen, we came out here today and this team was clearly the better team today, Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone said. There are some things, obviously, I thought we did well.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Make it 4 freezing cold mornings in Jacksonville just this month. This is the most December days with freezing cold weather in Jacksonville since 2010. Back then, 2010, we had a record (and astonishing) 19 days of temperatures at or below 32°. Whoa!
Saturday morning will start off with partly to mostly sunny skies, but as the day pushes into the afternoon, expect clouds to build. A few sprinkles will be possible along coastal areas south of Jacksonville. Basically areas from St. Augustine to Palatka and south to past Palm Coast.
