Bassmaster Elites to Visit Neely Henry Lake

Bassmaster Elites to visit Neely Henry Lake Updated Dec 24, 2020; North Alabama anglers who would like to see some of their bassing heroes up close won’t have to travel far this spring as the Bassmaster Elite Series visits Neely Henry Lake May 6-9. The event will launch and weigh in at Coosa Landing in downtown Gadsden. It’s the first visit ever from the Elite Tour. While Neely Henry is traditionally stingy on weights, the challenge will be to break down the pattern on this riverine lake and find enough fish to score consistently throughout the event. As in most lakes of this type, both current and bait schools are likely to be key to success.
