JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations will be held in Jacksonville on Friday morning.
The city of Jacksonville is inviting the community to celebrate the life, legacy and service of Martin Luther King, Jr. at the
34th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast presented by Florida Blue.
The event will be streamed live on Friday from the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center. The YouTube livestream pre-show will begin at 8 a.m. and the live program will begin at 8:30 a.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry has laid out plans to make the COVID-19 vaccination rollout in Duval County smoother and more efficient.
On Friday, Curry set the goal of nearly 1,000 vaccines per day, announcing the conversion of two senior centers to vaccination sites.
“Because of limited availability of this vaccine, Gov. DeSantis has prioritized its distribution for those at most risk, Curry said.
Two Jacksonville senior centers are transitioning into vaccination sites starting next week and an appointment will not be necessary to receive a shot.
