For more than 20 years, March has meant one thing at Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar: Oyster Month. The month-long “shell-ebration” is filled with giveaways, specials and more all to honor the sustainable and delicious mollusk. Never tried an oyster before? Newbies get their first-ever oyster on the house fried, grilled or raw. (Plus, “oyster virgins” get a complimentary commemorative koozie.) In addition, for every five half-dozen Emersum oysters you order in March, get a half-dozen for free. Simply grab a punch card at any location to get started. Check out the restaurant’s site for more oyster-centric specials.
