Locally-owned business donates Kinsmen Water Park passes to students at St. John Community School

Students at St. John Community School in Prince Albert received some of the most coveted tickets in town on Wednesday thanks to a locally-owned business.
Andrew Strauss, a former St. John Community School student, and current owner of RAM Excavation, stopped by St. John on Wednesday to donate Kinsmen Water Park passes to every student in the school.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has identified a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at St. John Community School in Prince Albert. This is the third case connected to the school since last week.
In a news release by the Prince Albert Catholic School Division on Monday evening the division explained that communication has been shared with the specific classroom/cohort, as well as the school community.
They added that the case is not school acquired.
“The Saskatchewan Health Authority is proceeding with their assessment of the situation, and all individuals deemed to be close contacts will be provided instructions.”

The Prince Albert Catholic School Division said St. John Community School will continue to operate for in-person classes while maintaining the safety protocols that are in place. To protect privacy, they are not able to share or discuss details. The cohort impacted by this case have been notified and provided with instructions.
