As the U.S. Senate considers a major overhaul of federal election law, five Arkansas Republicans spoke against it Tuesday in Little Rock. The legislation was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives on March 3, with all Republicans voting no.
The Paralympics have been a very important part of sports. This is because of the beloved inclusion of disabled people who usually cannot partake in certain sports, where the rules of said games are changed particularly to fit the players’ special needs. This certainly was a great addition to the sports industry as it shows the importance of letting everyone have a go at playing sports. No matter who they are, what they suffer from and how physically abled they are.

There’s a discussion of earlier legislative audit findings that savings in expenses haven’t been so great, job eliminations haven’t been significant and real estate shuffles have produced a tiny lease savings (not counting significant moving costs), but emptied some state buildings as the state moved to fill buildings that didn’t need to be bought (and incurred $43 million in debt to buy.)
So there’s that. Now there’s a specific example of an apparent “transformation” effort that will require legislation to fix.
