Body found in Mississippi River in St. John the Baptist Parish An unidentified body was recovered from the Mississippi River in St. John the Baptist Parish near Reserve, Louisiana.  A boater spotted the body and called the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff s Office, KLFY reported. The body was removed from the water at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.  The recovery comes at the same time crews are searching for Kori Gauthier, an LSU freshman from Opelousas who has been missing since April 6. The body found Tuesday has not been identified as Gauthier, but LSU Police are in contact with St. John the Baptist Parish authorities and are going to meet with them, LSU spokesperson Ernie Ballard said in a text.
