Arizona woman accused of killing Ashley Brito, 27, who was found dead in Indio hotel
An Arizona woman wanted in connection with the killing of a woman found dead inside the City Center Motel in Indio in March, has been arrested in El Centro, Indio police said Tuesday.
Carla Flores, 30, was arrested by El Centro police at about 4:45 a.m. Monday during a disturbance call at a motel in that city, officials said.
Indio police said Flores gave authorities a false identity, but it was later discovered that she had a warrant for her arrest on suspicion of murder in Indio.

INDIO, CA A 30-year-old Arizona woman was arrested in connection with the shooting death of another woman at a motel in Indio, police announced Tuesday.
Indio Police Department officers responded to the City Center Motel at 83597 Indio Blvd. at about 7:45 p.m. on March 31 to investigate reports of a woman who had been found dead, police said.
Investigators discovered 27-year-old Ashley Brito of Thousand Palms had been shot.
