A MAN was bitten and hit with a bike chain lock outside a hospital. The assault happened at around 8.25pm last Monday when the victim, a man in his 40s, was at the bike rack behind the Oxford Centre for Functional MRI at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington. He was approached by a man on a mountain bike who demanded that the victim hand over his bicycle. Following an altercation, the offender bit the victim s finger causing puncture wounds. The man also sustained bruising to his arm and knee and cuts on the side of his head after being hit with a bike chain lock.
