While Blizzard is spending a lot of time and energy on Overwatch 2, the studio is not yet finished supporting the original game.
Overwatch game director Aaron Keller, who recently took over for Jeff Kaplan, said during a Reddit AMA (via Rock Paper Shotgun) that fans of the original Overwatch have several exciting things to look forward to. One of these is a large feature that should be announced before long. When it will be added to the game, however, is another story.

In a recent Ask-Me-Anything question and answer session on Reddit, Blizzard developer and Overwatch 2 Technical Director John Lafleur (or blizz jlafleur on Reddit) was asked whether a beta for the eagerly-anticipated game was happening and he confirmed: “almost certainly, yes.”

The developers of Overwatch 2 recently conducted an AMA on Reddit where the responded to numerous questions about the long-awaited sequel. The team members from Blizzard spoke about things like an Apex Legends-style ping system, a cross-play and cross-progression, whether or not there will be a beta, and if Overwatch 1 will get a 120 fps patch.

Airbyte announces $26M Series A for open source data connector platform

Today the company announced a $26 million Series A, just a couple of months after announcing its $5.2 million seed round.
