66 new COVID-19 cases, no additional deaths reported in Windsor-Essex

  LONDON, ONT The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) reported 66 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths in the region on Sunday. Windsor-Essex has had a total of 14,803 confirmed cases of the virus, including 13,922 people who have recovered. Here’s the breakdown of new cases: 26 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases 18 cases are community acquired one case is outbreak related 28 cases are still under investigation. The death toll related to COVID-19 remains at 409 people. WECHU Medical officer of health Dr. Wajid Ahmed gave the weekly epidemiological summary on Friday.
