UCM Update on Pandemic Protocols The University of Central Missouri has removed the on-campus face covering requirement for fully vaccinated individuals. The university made the decision after considering the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) most recent guidance and consulting with health experts. Individuals on campus who have not been fully vaccinated should follow CDC guidance, and those who desire to wear face coverings may continue wearing them and are not discouraged from doing so. The CDC’s complete May 13 statement may be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html. No other changes, including workspace and classroom design, are being implemented at this time.
