SunTrust closed the branch in February 2019 and sold the property to an investor for $1.4 million.
First Florida paid $1.95 million for the site in January 2020. The building was developed in 2005.
Fields Collision Center
The city issued a mobility fee calculation certificate and a conditional capacity availability statement for Fields PAG Inc. to build a collision center at 10100 Atlantic Blvd.
The proposed development includes the renovation of and an addition to the former Porsche Jacksonville auto dealership and a neighboring building for a 44,042-square-foot collision center on 5.22 acres.
The city issued a permit March 29 for Charleys Wings and Philly Steaks to build-out a 1,908-square-foot stand-alone location at 9840 San Jose Blvd. in a former Krystal as part of a nationwide expansion.
Advanced Building Construction LLC of Tarpon Springs is the contractor for the $120,000 alteration. Plans identify the owner of the San Jose site as GOSH Enterprises in Columbus, Ohio.
The venture is the holding company of Charleys Philly Steaks and other concepts.
V Pizza to St. Johns
The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for V Pizza at 5602 U.S. 1 N. in St. Johns County.
The developer is 5700 Phillips Highway LLC. Plans indicate a 6,000-square-foot restaurant along with a deck and a grass play area.
JWB Real Estate Capital LLC submitted new conceptual images to the city of its proposed multifamily residential buildings for College Park, the former Town & Country Shopping Center in Arlington.
The Jacksonville-based developer filed the renderings and site plan April 7 with City Council legislation requesting to rezone the property at 903 University Blvd. to Planned Unit Development.
The site is zoned Commercial Community General-1 and General 2 District.
The images show two, three-floor residential structures with a total 24,000-square-foot building footprint and 90 units. The two buildings would roughly have a combined 72,000 square feet.
The center is at northeast University Boulevard and the Arlington Expressway. Built in 1953, it comprises about 200,000 square feet of space on 19 acres.
Periodic prescribed fires on District lands enhance the land’s environmental quality and protect its neighbors from destructive wildfires, but not without the possibility of temporary nuisances, such as smoke and ash, St. Johns officials said in a news release. Prescribed fires help prevent wildfires by burning off fuels that naturally build up over time, while also helping to manage the growth of woody shrubs, the news release said.
Public access to the Three Forks Conservation Area is available from the Thomas O. Lawton Recreation Area west of Palm Bay, the Sweetwater parking area at U.S. 192, and the Fellsmere Grade Recreation Area.
Wozniak appointed to 5th DCA
Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Carrie Ann Wozniak, of Winter Park, to serve on the 5th District Court of Appeal. She fills the spot of Judge Richard Orfinger, who retired. The court s jurisdiction includes Marion County. Wozniak has been a partner at Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm, since 2013, DeSantis office said in a news release. She previously served as a staff attorney at the Florida Supreme Court. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
