Georgia reports 3,165 additional COVID-19 cases, 5 more deaths

The Georgia Department of Public Health on Monday reported 3,165 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, 69 were reported in the six Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Monday, a total of 546,859 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Monday reported five additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 9,719 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
According to the state Department of Public Health, 5,248,593 tests have been performed in the state, which had a 9.9% positivity rate, as of Monday.

The Georgia Department of Public Health on Sunday reported 2,968 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, 65 were reported in the six Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Sunday, a total of 543,707 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Sunday reported five additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, including one in Glynn County, bringing the state’s total to 9,714 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The Georgia Department of Public Health on Tuesday reported 6,242 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, the highest single-day rise in the state recorded so far.
Of those cases, 82 were reported in the six Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Tuesday, a total of 518,902 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Tuesday reported 52 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, including one in Camden County, bringing the state’s total to 9,503 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
