Kemp takes jab at Atlanta mayor s mask mandate

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp gives an update on COVID-19 vaccine distribution across the state March 16, 2020.
The mayor issued that order Wednesday evening, just hours after the governor wrote he would not impose any new statewide lockdowns or mask mandates as new cases of COVID-19 and hospitalizations steadily rise in Georgia. Kemp pointed to data that shows most of those being impacted by the virus now are unvaccinated and encouraged all Georgians to get vaccinated.
Thursday afternoon, Gov. Kemp took to Twitter again to call for the city to redirect its focus.

ATLANTA - Attorneys for the family of Rayshard Brooks and college students Taniyah Pilgrim and Messiah Young issued a joint statement on Thursday, the day after Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr’s office named special prosecutors in two high-profile criminal cases against Atlanta police officers.
Willis, who took office in January, had argued that actions by her predecessor, Paul Howard, made it inappropriate for her office to handle the prosecutions. She had asked a judge to determine who should handle the case after Carr twice rejected her requests to recuse herself.

There are different versions of these pyramid schemes, but they usually ask you to pay a fee of $100 or more to take part and promise you can easily make big sums by enrolling others. Inevitably, those who participate end up losing money to scammers without ever receiving a return on their investment.
