In the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion, Democrats, their media lapdogs, and infuriatingly even some of America’s national security personnel have worked tirelessly to shift blame away from the truly violent nutjobs seeking to harm our brave police, Members of Congress, and even Republican then-Vice President Mike Pence.
Instead, the American Left is determined to blame honest gun owners, along with everyone concerned about Orwellian COVID-19 lockdowns, the integrity of the 2020 election, or the plague of riots across the country for the last year that cost 47 American lives.

New US cases of Covid-19 this past week were down 23.9% from the prior week, and down 53.3% from the early January peak. Although the 7-day average of news cases is now the lowest since November 9th, it s also higher that every 7-day period before that date.

(RNS) It’s no news that 2020 will go down as one of the worst years in recent memory. But the triple-whammy of pandemic, economic crisis and demonstrations for racial justice that left many Americans beleaguered and angry also yielded some inspiring and profound stories of faith and spiritual connection. Here are 11 stories by our staff and frequent contributors that captured moments of resilience and perseverance, and even a few moments of celebration.

behavior during the pandemic continues trickling-down to their staffers.
For example, Garcetti s Emergency Management Department, EMD, recently invited dozens of city employees to a baby shower at work for one of its own and his wife. Dubbed the DADiator Wars - Part 2, the lunchtime event was scheduled for this Wednesday in the courtyard at the Emergency Operations Center, according to two different invitations sent to this column.

GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler is hoping to become Georgia s first female senator elected in her own right after a bitter special election against Republican and Democratic opponents alike.
Loeffler, 50, is facing Democratic Rev. Raphael Warnock, 51, in a Jan. 5 runoff, a race that will determine Senate control in the next Congress.
The businesswoman and political neophyte emerged as the top Republican contender in the Nov. 3 jungle special election, elbowing out popular GOP Rep. Doug Collins in their 21-candidate field to finish second behind Warnock, a preacher.
Now, with the Senate majority on the line, Loeffler and her Republican allies are laser-focused on Warnock, blasting him as a radical liberal.
