Sununu to nominate Hanover High graduate Formella as NH attorney general John Formella has been nominated by Gov. Chris Sununu to serve as the next New Hampshire Attorney General. (Courtesy photograph) Modified: 3/2/2021 11:02:56 PM CONCORD Republican Gov. Chris Sununu plans to nominate his legal counsel, John Formella, to serve as New Hampshire’s attorney general. Sununu said he will submit the nomination to the Executive Council on Wednesday, with a vote likely March 24. If confirmed, Formella would replace Gordon MacDonald, who was sworn in last week as chief justice of the state Supreme Court. Sununu said Formella’s excellent relationships with state leaders will enable him to transition smoothly into the new role.

Salem student earns high marks  Arnav Mohindra, a junior at South Salem High School, recently earned perfect scores on the ACT and PSAT, as well as a near-perfect score  1590/1600  on the SAT.  According to ACT officials, fewer than half of 1% of students who take the ACT earn the same top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2020, only 5,579 out of 1.67 million students who took the ACT earned a top composite score of 36.
