The company, through subsidiaries, invests in construction, marine services, energy, life sciences, telecommunications, and insurance firms. Hanson previously served as senior vice president for policy at Sinclair Broadcast Group and earlier was a senior advisor on broadcast spectrum for the Federal Communications Commission.
