/PRNewswire/ Governor Tom Wolf has appointed Acting Physician General of Pennsylvania, Dr. Denise A. Johnson, as chair of the Patient Safety Authority (PSA).
Nearly three-quarters of breast cancer patients (73%) report using at least one type of complementary medicine after cancer diagnosis, while oncologists believe that less than half (43%) of patients are using these approaches during cancer care. These and other findings from a national survey of oncologists and breast cancer patients were released in conjunction with the 2021 ASCO Annual Meeting. The study found that doctors report discussing integrative health with only about half of patients, leading patients to seek information outside the clinic.

Northern Vermont University Announces Guest Speakers for Commencement 2021
Vermont Business Magazine Northern Vermont University has announced the guest speakers for Commencement 2021. Dr Francois S. Clemmons will address the NVU-Johnson graduating class and Dr. Henry S. Parker will address the NVU-Lyndon graduating class. Though the ceremonies for both campuses will be held virtually this year, they will include time-honored traditions. The commencements will premiere on YouTube on Saturday, May 15 at 11 a.m. (Johnson Campus) and Sunday, May 16 at 11 a.m. (Lyndon Campus).
