6 new COVID-19 cases Friday in Beaufort County, 3 in Jasper County

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported six new COVID-19 cases in Beaufort County and three in Jasper County on Friday.
Beaufort County has now had 14,937 total confirmed cases and 194 deaths in the pandemic. DHEC says Jasper County has had 2,175 cases and 43 deaths.
The department reported 337 new cases and four deaths in South Carolina, bringing the totals to 487,178 cases and 8,471 deaths. It said 3.2 percent of the 14,081 COVID-19 tests reported Friday were positive.
DHEC said 77.7 percent of the state’s hospital beds are occupied, including 70 percent of intensive care unit beds. It said 345 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, with 94 in ICUs and 49 on ventilators.

Beaufort County has now had 14,913 total confirmed cases and 194 deaths in the pandemic. DHEC says Jasper County has had 2,173 cases and 43 deaths.
The department reported 192 new cases and no deaths in South Carolina, bringing the totals to 486,282 cases and 8,448 deaths. It said 4.1 percent of the 10,202 COVID-19 tests reported Tuesday were positive.
DHEC said 71.8 percent of the state’s hospital beds are occupied, including 65.5 percent of intensive care unit beds. It said 359 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, with 92 in ICUs and 56 on ventilators.

Beaufort County has now had 14,907 total confirmed cases and 194 deaths in the pandemic. DHEC says Jasper County has had 2,170 cases and 43 deaths.
The department reported 277 new cases and four deaths in South Carolina, bringing the totals to 486,090 cases and 8,448 deaths. It said 4 percent of the 6,311 COVID-19 tests reported Monday were positive.
DHEC said 72.5 percent of the state’s hospital beds are occupied, including 66.1 percent of intensive care unit beds. It said 341 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, with 90 in ICUs and 52 on ventilators.
