Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday. You know what that means.

Let’s jump into this week’s episode of AEW Dark.
M’Badu, Terrence & Terrell Hughes (AEW trios debut) vs. Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall & Nick Comoroto (AEW trios debut)
It’s still strange to have Comoroto in a smiling babyface role since he seems like a natural heel. Perhaps it’ll lead to an eventual heel turn where he destroys Dustin and QT. Comoroto called for M’Badu early in the match, which set up a HOSS FIGHT. Regular readers know how much I love those. These six went back and forth for a bit, and Comoroto had some ridiculous power moves before slamming our friend M’Badu for the win at 7:17. This match was clearly a showcase for Comoroto, so they’ve obviously got plans for the guy after the Dynamite match with Jon Moxley.
Show Recap:
It’s Tuesday and you know what that means. Taz and Excalibur were joined on commentary by Anthony Ogogo for the opening matches.
Nick Comoroto, QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes def. Terrence & Terrell Hughes & M’Badu (7:13)
Comoroto and Terrell started out and Comoroto immediately overpowered him and then did the same to his brother. M’Badu tried as well, but even a triple team didn’t stop Comoroto. The babyfaces continued to dominate the early goings of the match, but eventually Rhodes fell to the heels for the heat segment where M’Badu got to look particularly good. Rhodes got cut off twice from making the hot tag to Comoroto, but hit his sweet spinning powerslam to take out Terrell.
Excalibur welcomed us to Dark. He was joined by Taz and Anthony Ogogo on commentary…
1. M’ Badu and “TNT” Terrence and Terrell Hughes vs. Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall, and Nick Comoroto. Comoroto denied both Terrence and Terrell at the start of the match, only to point at M’ Badu as he wanted Badu to enter the match. Comoroto had his back turned for a split second and TNT took advantage, but were taken down by Comoroto with a double clothesline. Terrence then hit a side slam on Marshall and followed through with the Death Valley Driver with the assistance from Terrell.
State of the AEW Women s Division: December 2020 By Jericu on Jan 3, 2021, 1:40pm EST 8
As we enter a new year, we find ourselves looking back on what has easily been the best month for the AEW Women s Division since I started watching Dynamite regularly back in May of this year. Was it great? Well, no. There still has yet to be more than a single women s match on an episode of Dynamite, and the two times it wasn t in the death spot of the seventh quarter was on the Winter is Coming special on the second and the Brodie Lee Celebration of Life on Dec. 30. In both occasions the final match + any following segment was at least 30 minutes long and thus took over the seventh quarter itself.
