Pakistan will respond ‘befittingly’ to any Indian aggression with its full military might, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri reiterated on Thursday.
Addressing a weekly press briefing in Islamabad, he said Pakistan would combat India’s global disinformation campaign with the truth. He said the country would enhance its positive diplomatic outreach to refute India’s negative propaganda.

Rejecting any perception of institutionalized forced religious conversions, Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Tuesday stressed that minorities in the country are free to profess, practice and propagate their religion.
Responding to media queries in Islamabad, spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that Islam forbids forced conversions under the Quran and Sunnah. He claimed that most reported cases of forced conversion, upon closer scrutiny, were found to be “fictitious, politically-motivated or based on mala fide intent,” adding that this was part of a concerted effort to malign Pakistan globally. He cited the recent disclosures by EU DisinfoLab as proof that Indian intelligence agencies were spreading disinformation about Pakistan.

Foreign Office spokesman advises Delhi to fix its domestic concerns rather than ‘wasting time peddling falsehoods’
The Foreign Office on Thursday urged India to cease dissemination of concocted propaganda against Pakistan, and called on the global community to take notice of such malicious falsehoods.
In his weekly press briefing, spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that Pakistan “strongly condemned” the revelations of a recent report by EU DisinfoLab, which has exposed a “vast network” of fake media outlets, NGOs and think-tanks working to undermine Pakistan internationally.
