Rieger & Co. and is also available to order for pickup on the distillery’s website for $30. The bottle also comes with six red Cheers cups.Red Kingdom Bottled Cocktail features tart cherry soda, KC Whiskey and spiced apricot, J. Rieger & Co. says on its website.J. Rieger & Co. is well-known throughout the city, but really grabbed people’s attention early on during the COVID-19 outbreak when it started selling hand-sanitizer. Cars would line up for miles to get the sanitizer and it would quickly sell out.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused rush on cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soaps and hand sanitizer. In the early stages of the shortages, a new business shifted gears to fill a need in the local community by manufacturing hand sanitizer.
The Trolley House Distillery, located at 502 S. Commercial St., had been under construction and renovation since 2018. With plans to deal primarily in locally-distilled moonshine, vodka and, in the future, bourbon, the shift into making hand sanitizer wasnât too big a leap.
âJ. Rieger & Co. [Whiskey Distillery] up in Kansas City kind of started the mass production of hand sanitizer and have been a great model to follow for a lot of the smaller distilleries, and now theyâre putting out about 5,000 gallons per week,â said Trolley House Distillery Owner Josh Williams. âItâs been crazy to see.
