FRESH warnings have been issued as a crack is expected to lead to a cliff fall in the near future . The West Bay Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked to investigate reports of a potentially dangerous piece of cliff in Seatown at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, July 20. Once on the scene, the area of the cliff was identified by officers, just to the west of the Anchor Inn in Seatown. Photos and grid references were sent for Solent Coastguard to notify the relevant local authority. The crack has been developing for some time and the recent weather - rain closely followed by very hot weather - is expected to contribute to a cliff fall in the near future.
