What to expect from the 2021 G7 summit Will the substance of this week’s gathering match its sunny, seaside setting? The leaders of the G7 group of big rich democracies – the US, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Italy and Canada – will meet in Cornwall, in south-west England, from this Friday, 11 June, to Sunday 13 June. The summit will be their first in-person gathering since before the pandemic.
