KITCHENER Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 90 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. There are now a total of 4,671 lab-confirmed cases in the region to date. Of those cases, 4,044 are considered resolved. The number of active cases also rose by 18 on Wednesday, for a total of 486. We are also reporting one of our single largest daily increases in cases today. Residents should consider COVID-19 to be widely circulating in the community, said Dr. Julie Emili in a statement. Public health officials also reported that two more people had died of the disease, bringing that total to 139. There have now been eight deaths in Waterloo Region since Saturday.

Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting 90 new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday, one of its largest daily increases in cases.
Public health reported two more deaths in the region, both were men in their 80s, according to Dr. Julie Emili, associate medical officer of health.
69 new COVID-19 cases, 1 more death reported in Waterloo region Monday
There are 69 new cases of COVID-19 in Waterloo region, public health reported Monday. One person has died from the virus and there are 26 active outbreaks in the region.

Region of Waterloo Public Health has reported another 63 cases of COVID-19, the first time new cases have been over 60 since the weekend. Officials also reported another death.
