Last Updated: Apr 1, 2021 6:19 PM Municipalities in Bruce and Grey counties are closing down many public facilities again as Ontario enters a province-wide “emergency brake” shutdown on Saturday. Essential services in municipalities will continue to operate. This includes services such as road maintenance, water and wastewater, garbage and recycling collection and police and fire departments. Public facility closure announcements made by local governments in Grey Bruce as of this evening appear below. Grey County Owen Sound -The Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre and Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre will be closed. The Bayshore will remain an active vaccination hub. -The Harrison Park Campground is scheduled to re-open on May 7, 2021 pending any further provincial COVID related restrictions.
