Jefferson County authorities say a three-month long undercover drug operation by officers assigned to the street crimes unit along with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, and with assistance from the criminal investigation division, White Pine Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, resulted in the arrest of four individuals.
Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Coffey said Operation Heroin Highway resulted in the Friday morning execution of search warrants on two separate locations.
âThe investigation also revealed that these individuals were not only dealing the dangerous drug heroin, they were supplying other drug dealers as well,â the sheriff said. âDeputies recovered 11.2 grams of heroin, firearms, and cash from both residences.â

HELENA â Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal, Timothy Hornung, announced the capture of 44-year-old Steven Curtis Drury.
On July 15th, 2020, Drury was indicted in Clark County, Idaho for Trafficking Methamphetamine.
According to a press release, Drury was arrested on Clancy Creek Road, Clancy, MT on February 10th, 2021.
Officers from the Helena Police Department and Deputy U.S. Marshals of the Montana Violent Offender Task Force attempted to stop Druryâs vehicle in the parking lot of the Wingate Hotel in Helena, Montana.
