BEAUMONT – An automobile collision lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages was recently brought against L & P Pharmacies (King’s Pharmacy Mid County).
Through The Ferguson Law Firm, Noryour Akins filed the suit Jan. 12 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the petition, on Jan. 25, 2019, Akins was traveling in Jefferson County when defendant John May failed to pay attention to the roadway and slammed into the rear of Akin’s vehicle with his work truck.
At the time of the wreck, May was driving Defendant L & P Pharmacies’ vehicle for the sole purpose of work.
Akins is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, impairment and disfigurement damages.
