Anton Harazin | News, Sports, Jobs - Leader Herald

Jan 22, 2021 Mr. Anton Harazin passed away peacefully January 7, 2021, at his home in Sarasota, Florida, with his loving daughters by his side. He was born on April 12, 1929, in Chicago. Anton “Tony” Harazin was the son of the late Anton J. Harazin and Josephine Lucasik Harazin of Chicago. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Myrtle Harazin; his sister, Gloria Jean Koscilniak; and brother, Edward Harazin. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Radek and husband Bob, and Beth Harazin of Sarasota; son, Marcus Harazin and wife Ann of Delmar; four grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Anton received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago and his Master of Arts degree in Arts Education from Columbia University. He graduated from Harrison High School in Chicago.

No ‘Nutcracker’ this year; Oak Ridger comes home Fay Martin/The Oak Ridger Kathy Martin Holmes returned to Oak Ridge, the city of her birth, on Aug. 31, 2020. She came back to be near her “aged parents,” Fay and Murray Martin. Kathy had been living in Sechelt, British Columbia. Her two daughters, Halle and Hunter Holmes have remained in British Colombia. Halle is working in Victoria, and Hunter is at an acting school in Vancouver. In her early days Kathy attended United Church, Chapel-on-the-Hill Nursery School, Cedar Hill Elementary School, Jefferson Junior High School and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1982.
