NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office Sunday identified the three people killed Saturday in a shootout at the Jefferson Gun Outlet in Metairie.
Jefferson Parish Corner Dr. Gerry Cvitanovich identifies the victims as 47-year-old Herbert “Noah” Fischbach, 59-year-old Veronica Billiot of Belle Chasse, and 27-year-old Joshua Williams of New Orleans.
Sheriff Joseph Lopinto says deputies responded to the Jefferson Gun Outlet in the 6900 block of Airline Drive around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office is currently on the scene of an active shooter situation off of Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Some reports say that the gunman opened fire on a gun store and that this is still an active situation.
